ClassMana vs LiveSchool
LiveSchool and ClassMana both reward positive behavior, but they're built for different jobs.
LiveSchool is a school-wide behavior platform for PBIS. It's bought by schools and districts, and it gives every staff member one shared system for points, a rewards store, house points, family communication and behavior data.
ClassMana is a gamified classroom management app for one classroom at a time. Students get an animated 3D avatar, earn Experience to level up, spend mana on powers and gold in a class shop, and work together in teams and Monster Battles. A single teacher can start on their own, today.
So this isn't really an either/or choice. Many teachers use ClassMana alongside their school's PBIS platform. More on that below.

Where ClassMana is different
It's a game, not a points tally. In ClassMana, every reward gives Experience. Students level up and unlock new gear for their animated 3D avatar across 35 levels. That visible progress is what keeps them coming back in month eight, not just week one.

Privileges are built in. Students earn mana and spend it on powers you define, like choosing their seat or listening to music during independent work. These are the kind of non-tangible acknowledgments PBIS teams like to use.
Corrections without taking things away. Warnings lower a student's health, but never remove Experience they've earned. When health hits zero, the student "falls" and redeems themselves with a positive action.
Whole-class moments. Run a Monster Battle where the class fights a 3D monster during review, or use the Silence Challenge to make quiet work a shared goal. Mystery Events add a daily surprise.

Start alone, today. You don't need a school purchase or a district rollout. Sign up, paste your students' first names, and you're ready. Students log in with their name and a login code. No student emails or personal information are needed.
When LiveSchool is the better choice
LiveSchool is the better fit when you need:
- One system for the whole building, so every staff member gives points the same way, in class and in the hallway
- Parent access, with a parent portal, weekly emails and translation
- Referral and alert documentation for your behavior team
- School and district dashboards to analyze PBIS data across classes and grades
- QR badges and bulk entry to award points quickly outside the classroom
- A school-wide rewards store with inventory and fulfillment tracking
If your school is choosing its PBIS platform, those are the features that matter, and ClassMana doesn't try to offer them.
What ClassMana doesn't do
To be clear: ClassMana has no parent messaging, no referral or discipline tracking, no school-wide PBIS analytics and no native apps (it's a web app that works well on phones and tablets). LMS integration is coming soon. ClassMana also doesn't sync points with LiveSchool or any other PBIS platform.
Using both together
This is where it gets interesting. Your school keeps LiveSchool for school-wide acknowledgments, parent communication and data. In your own classroom, you use ClassMana to turn those same expectations into a game:
- Name your ClassMana rewards after your school's expectations, like Be Respectful or Be Responsible
- Use powers as your classroom privileges
- Use the class shop as a mini version of the school store
- Use the Activity Log to prepare for check-ins and PBIS team meetings

FAQ
Can ClassMana replace LiveSchool?
Not if your school relies on LiveSchool for school-wide PBIS data, referrals or parent communication. ClassMana is designed for the classroom. It complements a school-wide PBIS platform; it doesn't replace one.
Do LiveSchool points transfer to ClassMana?
No. The two systems don't sync. Most teachers simply give a LiveSchool point for school-wide expectations and a ClassMana reward for in-class moments, or they keep LiveSchool for the hallway and ClassMana for the classroom.
Is ClassMana suitable for middle and high school?
Yes. ClassMana is used from primary school through high school, and even in higher education. Older students respond well to avatar progression, powers and team play.
Can our whole school use ClassMana?
Yes. The School plan costs $1 per student per year (minimum 150 students) with unlimited teachers, and you can share rewards, warnings, powers and shop items across classes.
