Welcome to the ClassMana Teacher Guide. This comprehensive resource will help you set up and manage your gamified classroom through all six stages of ClassMana.
Each stage builds upon the previous one, introducing new features and mechanics to keep your students engaged throughout the school year.
Getting Started
Before diving into the stages, make sure you:
- Register an Account (Free) - Create your teacher account
- Try Classroom Tools (Free) - Use free tools without creating a class
- Create a Class (Currently free, will be paid) - Set up your first gamified classroom
Once your class is set up, you're ready to implement the stages!
The Six Stages
ClassMana is designed to be introduced gradually. You can start simple with just rewards and powers, then add more features as your students (and you!) become comfortable with the system.
Stage 1: Rewards & Powers
The foundation of ClassMana. Give experience points, students level up, and they earn mana to cast powers for classroom perks.
Key Features:
- Giving experience points
- Leveling system (1000 Experience Points per level)
- Mana flasks
- Classroom powers
Stage 2: Student Avatars
Students get their own logins and can customize their 3D avatars. Avatars appear in the class dashboard for everyone to see.
Key Features:
- Student logins (no email required)
- Avatar customization
- Gear unlocks through 35 levels
- Student-initiated actions
- Request approval system
Stage 3: Health System
Add consequences for unwanted behavior with strikes and health points.
Key Features:
- Strikes for misbehavior
- Health point system
- Fallen status (0 health)
- Redemption process
- Weekly health restoration
Stage 4: Gold & Shop
Create an in-class economy where students earn and spend gold.
Key Features:
- Gold rewards for achievements
- In-game items
- Class shop and real-life rewards
- Request purchases
