Getting Started
Logging In for the First Time
Your teacher will give you your username and login code.
How to Log In
- Go to the ClassMana website
- Click "Student Login"
- Type in your name and login code, exactly as your teacher gave it to you
- You can use uppercase or lowercase - both work!
- Click "Log In"
That's it! No password needed. Just your code.
Keep Your Code Safe
- Write it down somewhere you won't lose it
- You'll need it every time you log in
- If you forget it, ask your teacher - they can look it up
- Don't share your code with others
First Time Setup
The first time you log in, you'll:
- Be able to create your avatar
- Get a chance to customize it
- Learn about the different features
- See your starting stats
Understanding Your Dashboard
When you log in, you'll see your main dashboard. Here's what everything means:
Your Avatar
The big 3D character on the screen - that's you! As you level up, you can change how they look and what gear they wear.
Your Stats
These are the important numbers:
Experience:
- Shows how much Experience you have
- Progress bar shows how close you are to leveling up
- You need 1000 Experience Points to reach the next level
- Example: 650/1000 Experience means you need 350 more to level up
Level:
- Your current level (starts at 1)
- Goes up to level 35
- Higher levels = cooler gear unlocked
Mana:
- Your mana points (like magic power)
- Maximum of 5 mana
- Use mana to cast powers
- Gets refilled when you level up
- Your teacher might also give you mana on certain days
Health (if your class uses it):
- Your health points (maximum of 10)
- Goes down if you get strikes
- If it reaches 0, you become "fallen"
- Usually resets weekly
Gold (if your class uses it):
- Your gold coins
- Earn gold for special achievements
- Spend it in the shop
- Save up for cool rewards!
The Menu
Click the menu icon to see options:
- Profile: Your stats and info
- Powers: See and use available powers
- Shop: Buy items with gold (if enabled)
- Avatar: Customize your character
- Activity: See your recent actions
- Classmates: View other students' avatars
- Settings: Change your preferences
- Log Out: Exit ClassMana
Recent Activity
See what happened recently:
- Experience you earned
- Powers you used
- Purchases you made
- Levels you gained
What Are Stages?
Your teacher will unlock new features gradually. These are called "stages":
Stage 1 - Rewards & Powers:
- You earn Experience and level up
- You can use powers (your teacher activates them for you)
Stage 2 - Student Avatars:
- You get a login (that's when you can use this guide!)
- You customize your own avatar
- You can request powers yourself
Stage 3 - Health System:
- Health and strikes are enabled
- Consequences for breaking rules
Stage 4 - Gold & Shop:
- You earn and spend gold
- Buy rewards from the class shop
Stage 5 - Teams:
- Coming soon!
Stage 6 - Hero Types:
- Coming soon!
Your teacher decides which stages to enable and when. Not all classes use all stages.
Tips for New Players
Explore:
- Click around and see what everything does
- Check out the different menu options
- Look at your classmates' avatars
Ask questions:
- If you don't understand something, ask your teacher
- Or ask a classmate who's been playing longer
- There are no dumb questions!
Be patient:
- You'll learn as you go
- It might seem confusing at first but you'll get it
- Focus on earning Experience and having fun
Check regularly:
- Log in often to see your progress
- Check if you have enough mana to use powers
- See if you've unlocked new gear
