Earning Gold
Gold is like money in ClassMana. You earn it for special achievements!
How to Earn Gold
Big achievements:
- Exceptional work
- Major improvement
- Going above and beyond
- Winning competitions
- Leadership
Rewards from teacher:
- Special recognition
- Completing projects
- Reaching milestones
- Helping others significantly
Leveling up:
- Some levels give bonus gold
Class events:
- Competitions
- Challenges
- Special activities
Gold vs Experience
Experience Points:
- Earned frequently (daily)
- For regular good behavior
- Everyone gets lots
- Easy to earn
Gold:
- Earned rarely (weekly or less)
- For exceptional achievements
- More valuable
- Harder to earn
Both are important!
- Experience for progression and mana
- Gold for shopping
- Different purposes
How Much Gold?
Gold amounts vary:
- Small reward: 10-25 gold
- Medium reward: 50-100 gold
- Large reward: 150-250 gold
- Epic achievement: 300+ gold
Example: If you earn 100 gold per week, you could:
- Buy 2 small items (50 gold each)
- Or save for 1 big item (200 gold)
- Or many small items over time

- Log in to ClassMana
- Click "Shop" in the menu
- Browse available items
- See prices and descriptions
- Check your gold balance

Buying Items
Ready to purchase? Here's how:
Check If You Can Afford It
- Look at the item price
- Look at your gold balance
- Make sure you have enough
- Example: Item costs 100, you have 150 ✓
Request or Buy
Depending on class settings:
If Approval Required:
- Click "Request Purchase"
- Add a note if needed
- Submit request
- Wait for teacher to approve
- Get notification of decision
- If approved: Gold deducted, item granted
If Direct Purchase:
- Click "Buy Now"
- Confirm you want to spend the gold
- Gold deducted immediately
- Item granted/queued
After Purchase
For in-game items:
- Item is applied immediately
For real-life items:
- Teacher fulfills the reward
- Might take a day or two
- Be patient and respectful
- Enjoy your reward!
Purchase Requests
If your class requires approval:

The 50/50 rule:
- Spend 50% of gold you earn
