Earning Experience Points
Experience Points are the main way you progress in ClassMana. Your teacher gives you Experience for doing well in class!
Ways to Earn Experience
In Class:
- Participating in discussions
- Answering questions
- Helping classmates
- Paying attention
- Following directions the first time
- Asking good questions
Assignments:
- Completing homework on time
- Doing high-quality work
- Going above and beyond
- Turning in projects
- Extra credit
Behavior:
- Being respectful
- Showing kindness
- Being a good friend
- Helping keep the classroom organized
- Demonstrating leadership
Improvement:
- Getting better grades
- Trying your best
- Overcoming challenges
- Not giving up
How Much Experience?
Your teacher decides how much Experience to give:
- Small things: 25-50 Experience
- Good work: 50-100 Experience
- Great achievements: 100-200 Experience
- Amazing accomplishments: 200+ Experience
Example:
- Participating in class: +50 Experience
- Homework completed: +100 Experience
- Helping a friend: +75 Experience
- Total for the day: 225 Experience!
At this rate, you could level up every 4-5 days!
Leveling Up
Every 1000 Experience Points, you gain a level!
The Level-Up Process
- You earn enough Experience to reach 1000
- Level Up! ✨
- Your level increases (Level 1 → Level 2)
- You receive rewards:
- A mana flask (usually 1 mana, up to max of 5)
- New gear unlocked for your avatar
- Sometimes bonus gold
- Your Experience resets to 0/1000 for the next level
Example Progression
- Week 1: Earn 800 Experience → Almost level 2!
- Week 2: Earn 300 more Experience → Level 2! ✨ Get 1 mana
- Week 3: Earn 950 Experience → Almost level 3!
- Week 4: Earn 150 more Experience → Level 3! ✨ Get 1 mana
If you keep this up, you'll level up about once per week!
The 35 Levels
ClassMana has 35 total levels:
Levels 1-10 (Beginner):
- Quick progression
- Learn the basics
- Unlock basic gear
- Build excitement
Levels 11-20 (Intermediate):
- Steady progression
- Cool gear unlocks
- Become experienced
- Develop strategies
Levels 21-30 (Advanced):
- Slower progression
- Epic gear
- Respected by classmates
- Master the system
Levels 31-35 (Legendary):
- Very rare to reach
- Most exclusive gear
- Legendary status
- Maximum power!
Level Milestones
Celebrate these achievements:
- Level 5: Your first milestone!
- Level 10: Double digits!
- Level 15: Almost halfway there
- Level 20: You're a veteran
- Level 25: Only 10 more to go
- Level 30: So close to max!
- Level 35: Maximum level! 🏆
Mana Flasks
Each time you level up, you get a mana flask.
What's a Mana Flask?
A mana flask gives you mana points (usually 1 mana). Your mana has a maximum of 5, so save your mana flasks wisely! You use mana to cast powers.
How Mana Works
Gaining Mana:
- Level up: +100 mana (usually)
- Your teacher might give you mana as a special reward
- Weekly mana: Your teacher might give everyone mana on certain days
Using Mana:
- Each power costs mana to use
- Low-cost power: 1 mana
- Medium-cost power: 2 mana
- High-cost power: 3-4 mana
Example: You have 5 mana (max). You want to use "Choose Your Seat" which costs 1 mana.
- Before: 5 mana
- Use power: -1 mana
- After: 4 mana left
You could use that power 5 times if you had 5 mana!
Managing Your Mana
Save it:
- Don't waste mana on powers you don't really want
- Save up for expensive powers
- Wait for the right time
Spend it:
- Use powers when they'll help you most
- Don't just hoard mana forever
- Enjoy the perks you've earned!
Balance:
- Use some, save some
- Always keep enough for emergencies
- Remember you'll get more when you level up
Weekly Mana
Your teacher might give everyone mana on certain days:
- Example: Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday = +1 mana
- That's 3 mana per week for everyone!
- Even if you don't level up, you still get mana
- Keeps everyone able to play
Tracking Your Progress
Check Your Stats
On your dashboard, you can see:
- Current Level: Where you are now
- Current Experience: How much you've earned
- Experience to Next Level: How much more you need
- Progress Bar: Visual representation
Example: Level 7 | 750/1000 Experience [████████░░] 75%
You need 250 more Experience to reach level 8!
Tips for Success
Earn Experience consistently:
- Do your homework every day
- Participate in class
- Be kind and helpful
- Small actions add up!
Don't compare yourself to others:
- Everyone progresses at their own pace
- Focus on your own improvement
- Celebrate others' success too
- It's not a race!
Ask for feedback:
- "How can I earn more Experience?"
- "What do you notice I do well?"
- "What should I work on?"
Stay motivated:
- Check your progress regularly
- Celebrate each level up
- Set achievable goals
- Remember why you're playing
Be patient:
- Leveling up takes time
- Stay consistent
- Don't get discouraged
- Keep working toward your goals
